A Plague Tale: Innocence released in May 2019 as action-adventure stealth survivor video game and the game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive.  The game was released for Microsoft windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one. And in July 2021 the game released for PlayStation 5 and X Box series X/S.

In A Plague Tale Innocence player got control of Amicia de Rune. Player can experience the game in third person perspective. When playing game player must focus stealth in majority of the game to avoid hostile encounters. If enemies catch the Amica she will get killed instantly. By throwing the rocks using her sling she can break the chains, can make distractions or stun guards long enough for the rats to ambush them. She can kill enemies by headshots if enemies’ head unprotected. Also, she can through homemade alchemic substances some of these can start fire by using fire rats can attract to certain location.

Player should play series of survival puzzle. So, player must scare away or distract the hordes of hungry rats in order to gain access to new areas or direct them towards enemies.in the game primary method of avoiding rats is the fire. they will seldom enter within the radius of burning torches and braziers. Amica can craft different supplies and ammunition. After all she can craft fire-starting sulfur stones that ignite braziers, stink bombs. In game Amica younger brother Hugo can direct toward the specific task. When Amica busy he can direct to specific area that Amica can’t access.  But its risky because of Hugo get panic when he alone and take unwanted attraction. Also, he cannot craft items but he can sneak through small spaces.

A Plague Tale Innocence story

The story driven at time of 1938 in France. And story driven around Amica who lives in Aquitaine area. In this time English army invade the country during 100 years war. She has bother named Hugo and he suffering illness form his birth. Their mother Beatrice and she alchemist. She tries to cure his son and locked him in their family estate. When French Inquisition troops arrive at the de Rune estate in search of Hugo, executing Robert and slaughtering the family servants. And mother helps to children to escape. The children lead to find doctor Laurentius. So, when they fleeing to nearby villages, they get know about highly spreading hordes of ravenous rats and these animals devouring anything come across.

They need to protect from hostile villagers that blame Hugo and trying to kill him. Also, Inquisition soldiers trying to find him and kill. So, story this game wind several awards. I am not going tell hole story I invite you to play this game.
