Player can experience fourteen civilization in the game Age of empires III. There are two expansion pack for the game Age of Empires III: The War Chiefs and Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties. Main game follows real time strategy and role-playing game.

Gameplay

Player build the town center or wagon in the beginning of the game. Player experience in exploring map, building additional units, killing enemies and gathering resources.

In Age of empire III player can level up through the technological ages. That represent the historical time period. When improvement of Ages player can improve or upgrade building its abilities and preferences.

Discovery Age- allows to the player explore and develop the economy.

Colonial Age - Unlock early military units.

Fortress Age - unlocks forts, and allows the player to have a more complete military.

Industrial Age – strong economy due to factories, advance building that produce resources automatically.

Unlock all units and shipments

Imperial Age – unlock all buildings and upgrades. Allows to send shipments unit and resources in second time.

Civilizations

Age of empire III allows to player experience eight difference civilizations.

And other civilizations can experience through the campaign. In Age of empire III twelve tribes can identify but player cannot play this tribes.

Age of empire III definitive edition

Announced 21 August 2019 remaster version of the game and will be released on 15 October 2020.
