This is action-adventure game in Si-fi background and the game developed by Remedy entertainments and published by 505 Games. In August 2019 the game released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A cloud-based version for the Nintendo Switch was released in October 2020. And for PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S released in 2021 February.

Game follows around the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) that is secret government agency studding   phenomena that violate the laws of reality. Player got control of Jesse Faden and she is new director of FBC. Player explore the Oldest house which is FBCs paranormal headquarters. She must utilize some powerful abilities to defeat deadly enemies known as Hiss. These enemies invaded and corrupted the reality. Player can get abilities by finding objects of power. These are rotary phone or a floppy disc imbued with energies from another dimension.

Control gameplay

Player can play Control in third person perspective. The game set within Oldest house this is a featureless Brutalist skyscraper in New York City and the headquarters of the fictional Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) that studies Altered world events (AWEs) and player should collect and study objects of power from these AWEs. The Oldest House, itself an Object of Power has and interior far larger than its exterior, an enormous, constantly shifting supernatural realm that defies the laws of spacetime. At the onset of the game, an entity called the Hiss is attempting to cross over through a dimensional barrier into this reality, and has taken over numerous parts of the Oldest House, reconfiguring its architecture to its needs, as well as many of the FBC employees to fight for it. The player controls Jesse Faden who has come to the Oldest House seeking answers about her brother after a prior AWE, but becomes involved in the fight against the Hiss.

Control more like Metroid Vania format with large world map. In the game primarily player must complete mission in Lenoir way. And player will encounter area known as control points. These are unlocking after cleaning enemies in that area. These points can use as save game and for fast travel. When player completing missions, new buildings unlock to player with additional side quests. These side missions include skill points that can be used to improve psychokinetic powers. Player can get abilities like projectile launch from debris at enemy and player can control enemies mind temporally. and some rewards can use for upgrade the functionality of service weapon. This is special weapon that can use in multiple forms it varies from short distance shot gun to long distance sniper.   

In the game player can see an AI system known as Encounter Director control.  The AI system directly interact with enemies that depend on player level and player location In the Oldest house.
