The game is online multiplayer open world pirate game developed by Rare ltd and published by Xbox game studios. And game can play in 1st person perspective. In the pirate ship player can cooperate with other players to discover the open world. The game describes as shared world adventure game.  In this game mode group of players encounter each other while completing adventure.  In the game player got role of pirate who completes voyages from different trading companies.  With these companies’ player need to become level with these three trading companies to become pirate legend.

 The game released in march 2018 for Microsoft windows and for Xbox One.

Sea of thieves is an action-adventure game presented in first person perspective.  When begins the game player have select his avatar and the game run in the shared world. It provides ability to player to encounter with another player with in the group of players. In the game solo and duo will sail around nimble sloop. When player play as group with 3-man brigantine or a 4-man galleon. In these mode players will assume different roles. These are steering ship, manning the cannons, navigating boarded enemy ships. Scouting from crow’s nest, ant occasionally player will encounter with other players with cannonballs or by boarding to the ship. So, when playing game, the ship taking damage under the deck ship will filled with water until one of player repair it or if player cannot repair it ship will sunk. To repair damaged hales player need woods. And player need remove water by using buckets.  In the game alliance can be established with other players. Players get gold bonus when alliance complete. Making alliance does not prevent ability to kill each other. When player dies player move to ghost ship until respawn.  

When plyer playing sea of thieves player can complete voyages provides by games three main trading companies. These are gold holders, order of soul and merchant alliance.

From the Gold Holders player get treasure map or riddle to locate treasure.

Order of soul offers combat challenges.

Merchant Alliance's offers quests to player deliver the good with in limited time.

 As well as player can find Hunter's Call and the Reaper's Bones and they don’t offer quests. But hunters call will reward when player bringing cooked fish and meet.

Reaper's Bones will reward for all kind of treasures and in here player rank increase when submitting cursed treasures and flags from stolen ships.

By completing voyages player will get golds that can expend on cosmetic items and also player can real world money on that. Also, player cam by pets by accessing the Pirate Emporium store.
